Sadik Caglar
Managing Director

ODS Turkey is a young, dynamic company, performing an elaborate service idealism in the Meetings & Incentives market, a parallel success achieved in the Groups & FIT industry. We can provide a high level of commitment to our clients concentrating on flexibility, sensitivity and above all, a very personal service.
After being active on an executive level in the travel and tourism industry for 15 years, Sadik Caglar and Hasan Dinc decided to establish their own company on a new philosophy and a faithful courtesy to their beloved elders with the name Omar’s Destination Services (ODS) on 16th March 1999.
Our business philosophy, based on everything we learned in our 25 years of organizing over 1000 meetings and events, has proved exceedingly successful. Following the principles of this philosophy has been the key to ODS Turkey's success and growth in the Destination Management & Congress business. In an ever-changing industry, we pride ourselves on having the ability to adapt to any situation, new technology and most importantly, the individual requirements of our clients.

As your partner in Turkey, it’s our job to learn your needs and what your expectations are for your program. Good communication, complete transparency, face to face contact and a close working relationship are the tools we use for a successful partnership. We see ourselves as being in the people business. Excellence is the only acceptable outcome for ODS TURKEY…
We are always willing to listen, learn and improve our systems as necessary. We will highly value our possible partnership and strive to maintain a long term, mutually rewarding cooperation with you.
TURKEY straddles both Europe and Asia with the greatest proportion of its territory in Southwest Asia. It has a total area of 780,580 square kilometers. The country is bounded to the east by Georgia, Armenia and Iran, and to the south by Iraq, Syria and the Mediterranean Sea, to the west by Greece, Bulgaria and the Aegean Sea, and to the north by the Black Sea. Turkey’s geographical coordinates are 36 degrees N north latitude and 26-45 degrees E longitude.

ISTANBUL UNLIMITED For thousands of years, Istanbul has embraced three great religions and many different cultures, and is today the scene of an endless succession of festivals and cultural activities. The city is not only Turkey’s financial and commercial capital, but its cultural and artistic one too. The festivals that take place all through the year turn this great city into a world metropolis. Yet, Istanbul’s cultural and artistic life is not limited to festivals alone. Art is to be found in every corner. In Beyoglu where the hearth of the city beats, the blue notes of jazz pour art into the very air. Hardly a day passes in Beyoğlu, once known as Pera, without the excitement of a festival. This district is the heart of the city’s cultural and nightlife, with cinemas, art galleries, cultural centers, concert halls and theatres. Ataturk Cultural Centre, in nearby Taksim Square is a venue for performances and concerts by Istanbul State Opera, the State Symphony Orchestra and the State Theatre.

Istanbul, The former capital of Eastern Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman Empires is nowadays a modern city where the beauty of nature meets the treasures of the past. It is the only city in the world to straddle two continents, and the only one to have been a capital during two consecutive empires - Christian and Islamic. Once capital of the Ottoman Empire, Istanbul still remains the commercial, historical and cultural pulse of Turkey, and its beauty lies in its ability to embrace its contradictions. Ancient and modern, religious and secular, Asia and Europe, mystical and earthly all co-exist here.
Its variety is one of Istanbul’s greatest attractions: The ancient mosques, palaces, museums and bazaars reflect its diverse history. The thriving shopping area of Taksim buzzes with life and entertainment. And the serene beauty of the Bosphorus, Princes Islands and parks bring a touch of peace to the otherwise chaotic metropolis.

Istanbul is rapidly becoming one of the most popular international congress and exhibition destinations as a result of the increasing demand for suitable facilities. Istanbul is a city competing professionally to fulfill the demands.

Istanbul is the real Turkish delight, a mixture of old and new where east meets west. The city is an exciting combination of the splendors of the Ottoman past and the modern amenities of a wide variety of international deluxe 5-star hotels, guaranteed to make your meeting, conference or incentive a memorable success.

Istanbul is the gateway to the rest of Turkey - definitely a paradise preserved.
